Miniature Macaw Feather Small Loose Feather Fan with Peyote Stitch Beadwork Handle

Here's a wonderful loose feather peyote fan! Beautiful bright green feathers with deep blue tips, accented with a beautiful Scarlet Macaw feather - a closeup of the peyote stitch handle is shown below. The beadwork on this fan is done with 1/13 cut charlotte beads. This fan measures 8 1/2" from the top of the beaded handle to the tip of the feathers, and the beaded handle measures 2 1/2" This fan is perfect for a woman or a child.

Twenty-One Scarlet Macaw Feather fan with Hyacinth Macaw Center Feather -

Twenty-one scarlet macaw feathers with an embellished hyacinth macaw center feather made in the traditional "loose feather" style. This is a traditional Native American Church prayer fan that is usually not offered for sale to the general public.

Blue and Gold Macaw Loose Feather Fan with Peyote Stitch Beadwork

Fan A has nine Blue and Gold Macaw feathers with a center feather of Scarlet Macaw feather - a closeup of the feathers and peyote stitch handle are shown below. Fan A measures 21 1/4" from tip of center feather to bottom of the 2 3/4" beaded handle.

Wonderful loose feather fans! The one on top (A) has nine Blue and Gold Macaw feathers and the center feather is trimmed with Scarlet Macaw feather - a closeup of the peyote stitch handle is shown below. Fan A measures 21 1/4" from tip of center feather to bottom of the 2 3/4" beaded handle. The second fan (B) also measure 21 1/4" from tip of center feather to bottom of the beaded handle, but has a larger peyote stitch handle (3 1/2") with fancy leather work.

The beadwork on both fans is done with 1/13 cut charlotte beads. These fans are not mass produced and require a great deal of time to acquire and match feathers, bead the handles and finish the fan.
