Sterling Silver and Turquoise Squash Blossom Necklace, c.1950, Navajo handmade
This is a fabulous old piece for the serious collector, with eighteen wonderful seafoam green Turquoise stones. The necklace is chain-strung handmade Sterling Silver seamed beads on Sterling Silver chain that, from the amount that the chain has stretched, appears to be the original material. The naja measures 5" x 4", and the largest stone in the naja is 1" x 2." The overall length of the necklace is about 33" and it weighs approximately 13 oz.

Sterling Silver Channel and Mosaic Inlay Sunface Squash Blossom Necklace and Earrings Set, c.1970, by Florence La Haleon, Zuni
This is a wonderful Penn Shell mosaic and channel inlay sunface squash blossom necklace. The necklace is strung on Sterling Silver chain that is the original material used. There are 10 small sunfaces measuring 1 1/4" in diameter on the necklace with a naja sunface measuring measures 2" in diameter. The overall length of the necklace is about 29 1/4," and the matching post earrings are 7/8" in diameter with a center post.

This unusual squash blossom style necklace has 9 small turquoise stones each set in a very heavy two-feather motif. The necklace is strung on tiger tail that appears to be the original material used. The naja mirrors the eight smaller two feather motifs and measures 1 3/4" x 2." The overall length of the necklace is about 26 1/4."

Chip Inlay Water Bird and Sea Foam Turquoise Pendant Necklace, c.1960, Navajo handmade

This is a gorgeous pendant necklace (see closeup below). It is unsigned, but sure looks like it's made by Charlie Singer. The 2 1/2" diameter pendant is made of Sterling silver with a stamped mountain scene and two turquoise chip inlay waterbirds on each side of one 1 1/8" x 7/8" seafoam turquoise stone set in a "shadowbox" style. The 25", chain-strung necklace is made of handmade Sterling silver melon beads and handmade Sterling silver approximately 5mm seamed beads.

Here's a wonderful old pendant necklace with handmade seamed and melon beads with a large two-stone Turquoise pendant. The turquoise has some pirite in it and appears to be old Kingman, and the pendant bears a hallmark of "NAVAJO" in small gothic print on the back. The necklace was re-strung in 1998. This is another lovely bracelet that, from the look of the bezels on the petit point, and the matrix in the turquoise, is a Navajo made Zuni-Style cluster bracelet. The top of this Sterling Silver, two-wire bracelet measures 1 3/8" in diameter with side pieces that measure 1/2" x 1 1/4." The inside of this piece measures 5 1/2" with a 1 1/4" opening. It should fit a 6 1/2" to 7" wrist.

Eleven 3/8" x 1/4" red coral stones set on a heavy, almost 1/4" thick bracelet. The top of this bracelet measures 5/8" wide with the coral stones running a full 3" on top. The sides are stamped, and the inside of this piece measures 5 5/8" with a 1 1/4" opening. It should fit a 6 1/2" to 7 1/2" wrist.

Here is a signed piece by Arlene Blackgoat. The coral is gorgeous, and the heavy Sterling silver is stamped and filed in a "Greek Key" pattern. Neat piece. The stone measures 1/2" x 1/4," and the band is 3/4" wide. The inside of this piece measures 5 5/8" with a 1 1/4" opening. This should fit a 6" to 6 1/2" wrist.

Moon and Stars Sunface Mosaic Inlay Bracelet by WS

This beautiful bracelet has some fine mosaic inlay of jet, spiney oyster shell, mother of pearl, and turquoise. I acquired this in a trade, along with the smaller Yei bracelet from the same maker below. "WS" appears to be a Din'eh (Navajo artist) named Willie Shaw, and is from the early to late 1980's. The bracelet measures 1" wide and the inside of this piece measures 5 1/4" with a 1 3/8" opening. It should fit a 6 1/4" to 6 3/4" wrist.

This is another lovely old trade bracelet - the top of this bracelet measures 7/8" at the widest part with one turquoise stone surrounded by twist wire and silver drops. The side pieces taper and have stamped thunderbird applique measuring that measure 1/2" x 5/8." The inside of this piece measures 5 1/4" with a 1 1/8" opening. It should fit a 6 to 6 1/2".

This pin/pendant is a beautiful and unusual piece, for certain! The photo doesn't do the gorgeous 5/8" x 3/8" and 1" 1/2" sky-blue turquoise stones justice, and the 1/2" x 3/8" red branch coral is next to perfect! This piece is made of very heavy Sterling silver and measures 2 1/4" x 2 1/8" overall with a large open-hook style bail on the back. Outstanding!

c.1978 Inlaid Cardinal Pin/Pendant, handmade by Raymond Boyd, Din'eh
At first glance, I thought this was an Edaakie piece, but it's actually made by a Din'eh artist named Raymond Boyd, a silversmith for Ortega specializing in Zuni-style inlaid birds. This pin/pendant is signed in script "R. Boyd," making the date of its creation around 1978-79. Raymond started using the 1/16 Gothic print stamp "RAYMOND BOYD" in 1980. This pin/pendant measures 1 1/2 x 1 1/8. Very pretty!
