Effie Calavaza, Zuni

Effie Calavaza, with her hallmark "EFFIE C - ZUNI" is perhaps one of the most widely recognized Zuni artists. Her wonderful "snake" patterned jewelry is unmistakable, and very sought after by collectors. While some of her pieces are made by her family, the ones represented here are truely her own work. How do I know that? Because I bought them from her, which should dispell the rumor that she's no longer living! Know that unscrupulous or ignorant merchants tell that one simply to drive up the price of her work.
