Bobby and Corraine Shack

Bobby and Corraine Shack have been making jewelry together for many years, and both had famous jewelers in their family. Bobby's mother, Thomasine Shack, produced some of the most sought after pieces by collectors, as did Corraine's father, Blake Lesanse. Bobby and Corraine's famous mosaic inlay thunderbirds and hummingbirds are now coveted by collectors. Bobby and Corraine sign their work, "B C. SHACK, ZUNI." Their work is published in Zuni: The Art and The People, Vol. 2, by Barbara and Ed Bell.

Sterling Silver mosaic inlay Hummingbird of penn shell, turquoise, mother of pearl, abalone shell, jet and coral between two large, lovely flowers - one of Motherof Pearl, turquoise and coral; the other of delicate Pink Mussel Shell, turquoise and coral - Gorgeous! The top of this large bracelet measures 2 1/8" h x 2 3/4" w, and is set on a heavy silver two-wire band. The inside measures 5 1/2" with a 1" opening and will fit a 6" to 7" wrist.
